A Forever Kind Of Dream

When my first book got published in December 2015, one of the things i sought out for was book reviews. Not a review from the New York Times (who am i kidding, that would have been fantastic!) or people magazine (Hey Boo)  but reviews from people across the world who bought and read   "A forever kind of Dream".  So far there has not being a single negative review and the general consensus seems to be everyone really likes it. From the reviews on amazon to the messages I've gotten on Facebook and Instagram, it's been a burst of positivity. Not to undermine every other review but i just received my most favorite so far on whatsapp this morning from a facebook friend who got the book back in May. What makes this review great asides the fact i wasn't expecting it is its unbridledness and the joie de vivre feeling it evokes . Thank you Ekene. Here it goes: Love. Forever. Sunshine. Laughter. The Man Who Little Birds Love

It was a sunny Saturday afternoon in September 2015 that i first saw him on TV in a restaurant somewhere in central Lagos, ironically on a station that was notorious of being dismissive of his campaign - CNN. The news report was on how he is trailing behind his major opponent by over 30 points. "who is he, this  Bernie Sanders  guy?", i turned to ask my friend. I equally had a lil respect for the apprentice guy, didn't know much bout him, but he sounded like a go-getter. I didn't care much about who will eventually win.
